Ladies having a CEREMONY only in Catholic Church

What is NOT included in the ceremony. I am starting to get confused.. I know the Eucharist is not. Anything else?

I think that's the only thing missing. Do you have the book from pre-cana? I think they have the checklist in the back.

My church said that they would let people receive communion. Check that out with your church.

Re: Ladies having a CEREMONY only in Catholic Church

From what I understand, the ceremony is exactly the same thing as the mass, but minus communion.

Good question. I was wondering this too. So there are still readings?

Re: Ladies having a CEREMONY only in Catholic Church

You can still do the readings and the prayer of the faithful. I have the option of having only one reading (new testament) and the other reading being optional.

Re: Ladies having a CEREMONY only in Catholic Church

Thanks Ladies. I think the Offering of the Gifts is also not part of a ceremony. My priest told us to contact him in December so I will hold off till then I guess. I just started creating my program template and was wondering what I don't need to leave space for.

Re: Ladies having a CEREMONY only in Catholic Church

We did not have the eucharist, the traditional readings, the prayer of the faithful or the traditional homily.

Stef I wish I could do that but I am already hearing it for not having a full mass.
