Well it depends on where he's flying in from, which hotel he's staying in, and what kind of a rental car he got.
Unless you're really breaking the bank already on him, I think I'd give him another $100.

I don't understand... Why aren't you also paying him a fee?
If you want him to travel from out of town, wouldn't he still want to receive a fee, in addition to his travel expenses?
If I'm traveling for work, the client pays my travel expenses, but they also pay me!

Zero - my FH knows couple of judges and my mom knows a lot of priest who already volunteer.

We already have not one but two rabbis for free (FH and I attend temple) that will be performing the ceremony for us as a favor.
