Ladies, I am officially suffering from wedding burnout
And i told my bridal party that they are officially on their own with the shower and bach party. Because I am sick of planning.
Did anyone else have to assist with planning their shower and bach party?
I mean really, at first I didn't mind but now I'm annoyed that NOONE is doing anything and all they keep saying is 'I dunno'. And leaving me to do it.
I'm really stressed! B/w this wedding, job hunting, house hunting, yada yada yada I'm burnt. I think I need to call a meeting with them.
But I'm almost 4 months away, and this really suxs :(
Damnnnnn yoouuuuu bridalllll parrttttyyyy. You give me a headache!!!!

if you are this stressed, why dont you suggest a spa-type of bachelorette party? relaxation is good for everyone!

I dont think you should be responsible for the bridal party at all...unless you wanted to be. I get yelled at by my sister if I even make a suggestion. Your girls should take control. Is your mom involved? Can you just ask her to coordinate so you can have one less thing to stress about?

I'm planning my bach party and I don't even want to go with my bridal party anymore! I just want to go with my girlfriends from work! How bad is that?!?!

you shouldnt be responsible for the shower or bach. party-leave them to do it
i gave my sis a few ideas of things i might like and then said its your responsibility
i just started a new job, its my first year of teaching, i have to finish planning the wedding, and i have to find us a place to live-i dont have time to do anything else

I'm sorry you feel stressed! You do have alot going on right now. I cant just sit back and let bp plan things for me. I am too much of a control freak and keep pushing my way into the planning process. They HATE me right now!

Re: Ladies, I am officially suffering from wedding burnout
I helped my sis with my mom for the shower. They fight too much. The other girls haven't made an affort to call MOH and MOH hasn't called them either. GReaattTTTT. And as for the bach party, since its combined, I wanted to the girls to do a day thing and dinner at night and than go out with the guys...thats all i said. The men are planning everythign it seems and its not what I expected at all. And the women are all whatever about it. And the guys keep coming to me with ideas and i'm like... I'm the bride!! Why isn't the bm's putting in imput???
I'm sooooo over this. i really am.

Haven't started shower planning yet but I definitely understand the part about being burned out. I posted something similar to this yesterday and it is a lot of working when your planning, apartment hunting, yadda, yadda. Some times its nice to step back and take a lil break & then start again. Also let your BM's know how much you need them to step it up at this point. Hope everything works out.
