Ladies, I need help!!!!
Hi all,So my FH and I were planning on a destination wedding originally. But due to some personal circumstances we were trying to plan a wedding in 6 months. Some people are finding it hard to save for a destination wedding in that short amount of time ( totally understandable) So, we are back at the drawing board. Who he has done a local wedding on a BUDGET, ( Typical NY budget lol) Can anyone steer my in the right direction to have a decent wedding around 30K TOPS? HELP!

Look into the all inclusives.. alot of them have packages for around 10K for 100 ppl. Lessings has a few venues which offer all inclusive packages. Also I believe east wind does tooGood luck!

I think you could swing that at a Westbury manor type place on a Friday or Sunday. Or even Saturday afternoon.

Yep! I think you could definitely swing that if you went with the more budget friendly photographers and florists. Also, I'd keep my guest count at 100 or below.

I.went auth Ann all inclusive venue meaning I had to choose from thier vendors. Saved me allot of time and energy pricing around!! When.we booked we only had a choice of photographers, we had no choice in limi, dj or flowers. Note they added djs so.u get to.pick a dj and photographer. Check the sterling website! They r in Bethpage all the info, prices, vendors, photos even menu options are all in the site!! Good luck!!

I'm not doing all inclusive but my venue was very affordable for a saturday afternoon in May. I'm getting married at the Watermill and I love it! If you don't have a preference of season, January-March is the most inexpensive time to have a wedding. My budget is 25k so I think it's totally do-able. Good luck!

My budget is lower than that and we are doing Westbury Manor on a Sunday with a guarantee of 120 guests. You can definitely do it without really missing out on anything, just make sure you pay attention to costs and really stick to it. Haggle! Also, lower price doesn't always mean lower quality.

My budget is less than yours and I really don't feel like we are missing anything. We are using complete wedding packages in East Meadow for video, photo and dj (prices are AMAZING and great work), we are using budget friendly flowers in our colors. So far we are right on budget.

Same here. I wasn't willing to compromise style, food, or cleanliness so I compromised my month. The one thing I have to complain about Floral Terrace is that there is no outdoor area, but in January, who cares?!
For what lower quality vendors were charging me for a Sunday afternoon in September, I was able to have a Saturday night in January at Floral terrace with a much higher quality menu, one event at a time, and the place is flawless.

yes the menus are amazing! My guests will be wowed I'm sure of it. Plus no one I know has winter weddings and I like to be the odd ball. I'm basically having a 45k wedding w top notch vendors for 30k maybe cheaper but i didnt factor in my honeymoon yet all because I decided to do a winter wedding! So anything is possible!!!
