Ladies I need some help - Situation with a BAD Florist...

Hi ladies,
As some of you may know I am not happy with my current florist and have decided to call it quits with them. We never signed a contract. The only thing the quote says is that once money has been given to secure the date that quote becomes a contract. I've already given them $200 for a deposit. So my question is this... Does anyone know the law in Nassau county for getting my money back in this situation? I'm giving them more than a years notice. Does anyone know if I can get my money back?
