Ladies, I need your bargain hunting help!

Fh's parents are not involved in our wedding, so it is up to us to host the rehearsal dinner. I am looking for restaurants in the Commack, Northport, Huntington areas. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Steakport, Nocello's, Smitty's ... oh wait, I don't know how any of them are priced so may not be 'bargains'.

I have been going on bid n buy on Newsday trying for a few gift certificates to offset a rehersal dinner price.....We have been to Coluccis in Miller Place, and they are on the bid n' buy and I thought 'great' but I haven't been back on....but I thought about doing this, as I said, to help offset the dinner. A gift certificate worth $250 or less...hmmm...

just a thought

There is a nice place in commack right near the commack wedding center. It is called La Scalla and the prices are great and the food is amazing. The front of the place is a Pizza place, but then you walk into the back and you feel like you are in a bistro in Italy it is great.

We booked ours for Crossroads Cafe - it's on Larkfield Road in East Northort, right by the railraod station. It is very samll place, but the food is great, (it's Zagat rated!). We wil be 30-40 people so we are taking over the main dining room. The price is $20 per head for choice of prime rib, salmon, penne ala vodka, or chicken. Beer and wine is and additional $10. The other place we were considering was Pomodorinos, on Motor Pkwy in Commack/Haupauge. The had a nice italian menu for about the same price.

We're having our RH at Nocello's! My FIL's are planning it for us, but I know they are reasonable (and I hear, good food)

Try the Bonwitt Inn...not sure of the price though.
