Ladies...I need your prayers...

My FH's grandmother passed away 3 weeks ago. He was very close to her and it hit him hard. He is doing much better now. Last night his step father died. He has been fighting cancer but only for a few months. We saw him 2 weeks ago and he looked great. They rushed him to the hospital Monday night and his liver was failing. I can't believe that he is gone...so fast.

I'm sorry to post sad news, but I really needed to talk about it. I feel so bad for the my FH . Just when he felt things were looking good....this happened. It really makes you think about how precious life is.

I don't mean to put a damper on all the exciting things that we discuss everyday. I'm sorry if I have bothered anyone with this news.

Oh Hon I am so sorry to hear about this. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

I am sure all the other girls would agree that this is the perfect place to speak about any issues you may have in your life whether good or bad. Don't feel bad bringing this up on the board. You will have everyone's support in your time of need.

Oh Sweetie, I am so sorry your family has to go through this. Death is never easy. Time will heal you. It's so important to enjoy life and those loved ones around you...

Im so sorry to hear of such sad news. It must be really hard to go through 2 close deaths in the family like that. Your husband is lucky to have you by his side.

This is a hard time for you, and I will pray it gets better.
I've also suffered loss in bunches and know it is not easy at all. You will get through it.
I think it's wonderful you are there for your FH. Continue to take care of him, and make sure you take care of yourself as well.

You are all so wonderful!! I truly appreciate you taking the time to reply to me. I am thankful to have found this website and alll of you. We may have never met, but I feel so lucky that people I don't even know are willing to help me and my FH in this tough time.

I have a hard time dealing with death. I lost both my parents 4 years apart and that was just so devistating. Now, with his family 2 deaths within 3 weeks...well, it's just unbelievable.

No need to apologize. We are here for the good and bad stuff. I am addding you to my prayer list.

All you can do is be there for your FH. You may not feel you always have the right thing to say and that is fine. Know that he will appreciate you just being there.

Losing 2 people you love so close together is very difficult. I know because I lost both of my grandmothers 3 months apart (3 1/2 years ago) and I still miss them every single day.
Try to just love your FH. There is not much more anyone can do at a time like this.
