Just wanted to update...we buried Grandma today - I cried the entire church service...it was beautiful! The songs we picked were wonderful and the homily was perfect!
I still feel like's it a dream..it happened so quick it hasn't sunk in yet. Thanks for all the support.
The bereavement dinner was something we all needed...the whole family was drunk! Grandma would have got a kick out of us We all did shots of blackhouse for her!
Hugs your parents, sisters, brothers, grandparents, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles anyone that means something to you - you never know what tomorrow brings

Once again so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother. Now you can begin the healing process which does take time. But, just knowing you have the support of family, close friends and your sisters on the boards will give you a source of comfort.

my condolences to you and your family, and i wish that all people could see that sometimes the deceased would rather see their family having fun than grieving... it shows an honor that is very hard to show, but very strong when shown... im sure grandma was enjoying herself a lil drink too...!

My goodness..it sounds like this was not a fun week fo ryou. I am so sorry to hear about your grandma. It is so hard to lose someone who is so close to you. I think its amazing that your family was able to celebrate her life the way you did! Best wishes to you, FH and your family!
I am so sorry prayers for you and the family. I am a true believe that you never know what tomorrow is going to bring so enjoy everyday like it is your last.

I'm really sorry you had to go through this sudden change all in the span of a week....know that your grandmother is watching you. I know it must be even harder thinking about the wedding and all, knowing she wont be there. But, in time you will feel a little bit better.

my grandma died a year ago today. my father AND my aunt are both dying of cancer. so you are 100% right. mae sure you tell everyone you love them every day. dont ever go to bed angry with anyone..
