ladies please share makeup and hair people and prices! i know i already asked but that was a while ago!
Ok ladies. So I went for my hair trial yesterday and it came out amazing! For my bridesmaids though she is charging too much, so I need to find someone good. As well, I still don't have a make up artist for any of us! Please either tell me here or FM me who u r all using and how much they charge! I really wanna make sure I'm making an educated decision and don't want to spend thousands on trial after trial! I'd rather take ur advice and go to those people that u think r truly talented! Thanx ladies!

I am using The Bridal Touch by Elena ( a vendor on here) and she is amazing!!! She does hair and makeup (im getting airbrush) and travels to you. She also can stay thru your first dance to touch you up and take your viel out and fixt your hair after... awesome. DOW for bridal hair and makeup is 250 (i think) and the BM are 70-80 i think

What is the price range you are looking to stay in for BM makeup?
I am using Marisa D., but her rates may be a little high for BMs, I think 100-125.

I am actually also using Elena but I just wanted to say she did a great job with my trial (pics are in my album). I know she had mentioned that she was going to Italy for a week or two but I would definitely recommend scheduling a trial with her.

I'm using Fresh Face Forward, a LI weddings vendor, that I was referred to by a friend. They come to you and charge $250 for the bride including airbrushing for make-up and hair. For bridesmaids, it's $60 for either make-up OR hair. The trial was $100 for hair and make-up. Prices are on their website: http://www.freshfacefwd.com/pricing.jsp

im personally using Vincenza from 2 Stephen Street, my trial pictures are in my photo albums.

She only does makeup, not hair, but she has recommended stylists because she works in a salon during the week. Her website is www. brides by marisa d.com (no spaces) and all of her rates and some examples are there.
My trial was 100, and day of is 200, so she's comparable price wise to M-I-A. She came to my house though and used airbrush, so it was worth the money. I think she did a great job, pics are in my makeup trials album, she's trial 3!

I'm not too sure about MU yet...I have a trial next week... as for the hair..>I'm using Angela... she's awesome with pricing and comes to you! I highly reccomend her!!

is that for both hair and make up? Do u know how much she charges just for make up for the bride?

BEGIN RANT: I've been trying to get quotes and make trial appts but nobody has been getting back to me! And I've only contacted LIW vendors!!! You'd think they'd be reputable!!!
Ok, ONE vendor sent me a nice email saying she's OOT and will get back to me in a couple of days.
BUT there's one that I really LOVED their portfolio online and NADA, ZILCH, NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!! How rude!

I think it was 90 for BM w/airbrush....65 regular makeup.I think it was 50 or 60 for a trial....not sure exactly but her website is www.prettyme.com and she has her prices on there. My friend is doing my BM's hair also unless they have someone else they want to use. Im fine with whatever.
