Ladies Question (Bras)

Ladies Question (Bras)

How do you wash your bras? Do you wash them in the laundry with everything else or by hand? And, if you wash them by hand, what do you use - the regular detergent or something like Woolite?

I throw them in with everything ... can't be bothered.

Me too! They tell me all the time at VS to hand wash. Please, you're lucky I have time to do laundry at all, I'm gonna sit and hand wash a few things?

I even throw my stockings in the machine in that special mesh bag so I don't have to hand wash them!

Ooh, I forgot about that magic mesh bag. Where do you buy one?

I wash them with the regular stuff but never dry them--the dryer ruins the elastic!

Re: Ladies Question (Bras)

I used to just throw all my bras in with the rest of the clothes and run a regular wash and toss them in the dryer on high - but it started ruining my bras and since I'm only comfortable in VS Body bras, it was getting too expensive to keep replacing them!

Now I just wash them in a cold cycle and let them air dry - that works much better, and it's MUCH easier on my VS credit card too But I also heard those mesh bags are great! I think you can get them in any Lingerie dept at Sears, Macy's etc. VS sells them too I think, but I'm sure you can find them cheaper somewhere else!

I wash them with the rest of my clothes as well. I make sure they are clipped so they don't get wrapped up around the agitator. I also air dry.

I put them in the mesh bags, the gap bras I have found to be really durable

I also throw my lingerie in the mesh bag.

You can buy the mesh bag at any store, Walmart, target, Bed Bath Beyond.

mesh bag ..... I make sure all the closures are fastened closed to prevent excessive wear or tangles.

I think I got the bag at walmart

I keep forgetting to put them in the mesh bag. I put them in the dryer too. I don't have the time to hang them dry. Plus, I would be embarassed if someone stopped over and saw them hanging.

i wash them with the reg wash (lights and darks sep. of course) and then hang to dry. Every time I put them in the dryer, the wires & hooks get bent!

I put mine in with everything else, but I put them in those mesh bags for delicate clothing items.
