ladies that live with their FH??

does anyone else feel like they are already married? i had a fight with fh tonight because I am sick and tired of cooking every night..... i am a little nervous about having kids with him because i feel like he is going to be NO help.........

i felt we were already married before our wedding...

Yes. Since about the second week (I moved in 3 weeks after we met!).

We even started referring to one another as hubby and wife after a matter of months.

And yeah, sometimes I think he won't be responsible enough in the long run but he always ends up surprising me

we live together but we also talk everything out. so even if we argue we discuss it usually within a day or two when we've both calmed down

We've been living together for 3 years now. We don't have a problem with the cooking situation . . . it's the cleaning that gets us! We both work full time so we both need to do our fair share!!!

yeah I sometimes feel like theres nothing relaly left for hte surprise of being marrried. I think we need to think of something that wil keep it spiced up since this is how it wil be forever

we have lived together for almost a year and half but spent many nights together for awhile before that. It takes adjusting and agreeing to make it work. The wife cooking and cleaning is long gone with wives/mothers working f/t. any FH that doesn't see that must be shown it. My FH is great with helping out. He has sleep apnea and is always tired and it gets to me, but I need to accept it. He washes the dishes and cooks some nights. we have different weekends. He can't clean like me though. I am very particular. I had him help me clean the bathroom the other night, because my back has been out, and I had to point to where I needed wiped, but at least he got down and dirty in the bathroom. He does the garbage, and never understands how we always have so much, where I get it from. He had a girlfriend with kids so he is use to that situation and I have 2 kids. My daughter was just saying how she likes how he carries everything in from the car and she doesn't have to do anything. We work together and seem to get things done.

I felt like we were married already. And I definitely do not cook all the time. DH cooks a lot too. You need to talk about things now. Does your DH know how to cook? Maybe you can order out like 2 times a week. I know how frustrating it can be cooking all the time. He used to do the dishes when I cook but he hardly does them anymore. And its hard for me to use it against him because he works a 9 to 5 and I only work 2-3 nights a week at my job. So its hard for me to tell him to do the dishes lol. We do fight about it though.

I can totally relate to this response. Me and my FH have been in a relationship for 5 years now. Our wedding date is October 25, 2008. I moved in with him only after about a month after we met. I had known him, work with him, and was in love with him within that first month or two after he first asked me out !!!!! later after My house was finshed being remodeled he moved in with me, and we called each other hubby and wife also

I totally know what you mean about the feeling married already however lately I guess because we are both getting really excited about the wedding it's been feeling totally different. I don't know if I am explaining it right but it's kind of like we have those 'sparks' again. It's awesome I love it!!! As far as the cooking dinner every night. Yes I do cook and clean the entire house and FH does help on occasion but he works WAY more hours then me so I am ok with it.

We have been living together for 3 years this coming August. We kind of have a system...I clean, he cooks. Although he did offer to pay me $10 last night to fold his laundry.....of course, I folded his laundry (and took his $10, but put it back in his car this morning)

It took a little adjusting but once we found out what worked for both of us then we made peace with it. If he does something that bothers me, I tell him and vice versa....he now doesnt leave his dirty clothes on the floor and I sweep up my hair on the bathroom floor everyday (or at least try to)

I cook once in a blue moon. He claims to not know how

We both clean our specific rooms of the apartment, too. (I get the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, he gets the computer room and living room)

Neither one of us is really ever home so we don't really need to cook, until things settle down.
