Ladies!!!! This is it!! My wedding is this weekend and I need to know what to do about the weather!!!

Like I could really do anything anyway

My situation for those of you who don't know...I was suppose to have a beach wedding.

We rented a 20 x 50 tent for the reception and a 10 x 10 tent for the ceremony. I have 100 chairs at reception hall already. They were delivered Tuesday.

With the weather forcast being rain and tropical storm!!!! What should I do????

I can move it inside and cancel the tent but I will be sooooooooo sad if it turns out to be nice and we are stuck having the ceremony inside on the dance floor

Please ladies, tell me what you would do????? I need tomake a decisio tonight becuase they tent is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow

A very sad

I think you should keep the tent.
I think even if it does rain, it'll still get used.
Either way, you are going to have a wonderful day, try not to stress about something you can't control!

I would keep the tent too, just in case it is nice. And if it isn't- you still have the tent, but at least you won't have to pray for rain just cause you cancelled it!

I agree for the same reasons - keep the tent!

I would keep the tent just in case besides the weather forcasters are never right they said it was going to rain on my cousin's wedding and the day turned out to be very sunny with a slight breeze.

this is very unfortunate for you. my deepest sympathy really.

usually when an exclusivly outside wedding is planned. rain comes to mind, most people hope not to get it... and some just plan a rain day

I know this is horrible, and its YOUR day
Id say if you dont have a rainday planned, make the best of it. mabe it will be more memerable.
if you dont mind changing the day.. make a rain day

sorry

Chris, I can't belive it's this weekend already!

And I saw the forecast, figures the past 2 weeks were nice and NOW THIS!

Well, maybe it will hold off a day.

Is there a way you can do both? Like have the tent ready to go up if it's nice but also know they can move ya's inside if it rains or starts raining early in the day?

Please post some pics when you get them - inside or outside!

And even if the day is rainy, it will be spectacular

if you have not made a decision yet, DO NOT CANCEL THE TENT. the night before my sister's wedding 2 years ago (tent wedding) they predicted hail and flooding (this was june mind you) and it rained a little bit, but for the most part the day was really nice.

Don't cancel the tent, you never with these weather men, they are not 100% accurate.

I agree, don't cancel the tent. People may use it anyway, to smoke, or get some air, etc. And you never know with the weather. We had a monsoon, and it turned out to make more memories for us and make our day extra cozy. We had a lot of guests tell us how they actually enjoyed the rain. Good luck!!!!

I am soooo sorry to hear that. I'm also having a beach wedding and unfortunately, that's the chance you take. If you really want the tent, keep it. It may be nice anyway.

i agree with everyone...Keep the tent!!!! Even if it does rain, I'm sure it wont be the entire day, and people will still use it..And if its beautiful out, you will be happy that you still have your tent and can go about things the way you planned!
Congratulations and have a great day!
