I was planning on going for my HM but my parents are freaking out over this. They keep telling us that is not safe and that we should go to another place..... ughf!! don't know what to do.

I am no really worried...if you go use precaution..i am not going all over mexico...we are gonna stay and enjoy the very expensive resort that I have been dreaming of since i booked it lol which is no where near where all the drama is..no one is gonna bother me in my hammock ...and swim up cabana...

a co-worker just got back and he said it was absolutely fine!! just be careful!

I am going through the same thing... It's so frustrating. And my wedding is in 2.5 months.

I'm not worried at all. A coworker just got back and even went into towns nightly and she said nothing but good things.

I'm actually VERY happy bc we just received$ 2000 in upgrades and out own private car from the airport to our hotel

This is turning out to be the best for me personally
