Are you having it rolled out for the entire BP or just you. I'm thinking I'd like it out for when guests are arriving...

Re: Ladies using personalized runners...
As much as people say you're supposed to unroll it just for the bride, I just foresee that being a slight mini disaster, lol (like if it's not unrolled well and I trip because it's sticking up, or I don't know!). And since I'm having a personalized runner, if they unroll it after guests arrive, it's almost like a waste because some guests may not see it or notice it.
That said, I'm having it unrolled before guests arrive and will ask the ushers to block off the main aisle so no one walks on it before.

You can have it unrolled before guests arrive and have someone tie off the center aisle with tulle or ribbon. The guests can then enter from the sides.

hummmmm good Q! I would prob. have it out for the guest to see.... But then again I don't want it all trampled on and messed up b4 the BP and I walk down.....perhaps the blocking off so they can only enter down the side will work?
Where are you gals placing the monograms and such??? I am having a hard time deciding near alter---middle---- or entrance-----
What do u think???

I ordered mine about 20 feet from the front of the altar. My aisle is 100 feet long so it's about a quarter of the way down the aisle. I personally wanted it where people would see it when they sat/stood so I really didn't want it at the end of the aisle.

Mine is about 10 feet from the front, but my aisle is a little less than 50 feet.

I am having it put down before the ceremony. But the aisle will be ties off and at least one usher will be placed as aisle security!!! The guests caan be seated from the sides.
