The wedding is February 22nd 2004. I was told it should be 2 months before but 2 months before is basically Christmas. Should I send them out for the 1st of December or should I send them out after Christmas?

i say the beginning of december so people will have them and not put them aside b/c of the holiday rush---they may get caught up and forget to respond!

My wedding is 9/13 & the response date is 8/13. Since I have a few to go overseas I was going to send those in about 2 weeks so thought I'd just send them all then. Too early to send the steateside one? Since I mentioned it to my mom the other night she just called sounding all panicky that I was sending stateside ones too early. She suggested that I wait until July 1st to send those which would then mean a second trip to the post office. What do you girls think?
BTW, Emma I would send them the beginning of December.

I agree w/ 2003 wedding...... We are the 2nd weekend of January & we are sending them out in October, to beat the holiday frenzy.

My wedding is Feb 7 and I am planning on sending them out in early November. I want to get them out before all the holidays so out of town people have plenty of time to book stuff. My response date will probably be mid December.

I don't think you will be sending them out too early, if you send them out in two weeks. I feel the sooner the better. I have to base a lot on the number of guests that will be attending.

Since FH is off tomorrow I am sending him to the Post office to send out the overseas ones & weigh one so I can verify the postage for the rest.
Edited to say the others I will wait until closer to the end of the month.
