My invites are 5x7 and I want to print 2 to a page. I am using 8x11 cardstock and I want to have 2 invites print per sheet. Is there any way to do this or do I have to actually cut the cardstock first then print? Please help me and please tell me what program you used. I am using Word but I can use something else if it's easier.
TIA

if you do 2 5x7 to each cardstock then wouldnt that not be enough? 2 5x7's equal 10x14 you wont have enough, they wont be even. When i cut 8x11 in half its 4x 5.5, i did this when i had to do menu's and i needed it to be exactly half of an 8x11 cardstock

Ok so my measurements are a little off lol. But I just need to know how I can print multiples per sheet. I'm doing inserts also so I'm going to need to know so I can print those also. I just don't want to waste paper. So if anyone can tell me how to print multiples of anything per sheet would be great.

I'm using Word but I can use something else if it would be easier. I have powerpoint and also print shop but I'm not too familiar with those but I can try.

I think if you went to page setup and got rid of the margins you can move your invitation all the way over to the left side of the paper. Also make the paper landscape. Then copy and paste it next to the first invite. I hope that made sense. I made mine in powerpoint, I feel there is more you can do to it. I was only able to print one to a page.

the only way to do more than one invite per cardstock is to make the invite less than 5x7 theres no other way. Even if you move writing or whatever, the actual paper size is still 5x7 for each one, and you just cant get 2 5x7 out of 1 8x11 cardstock.
Inserts are different, i think i did about 4 inserts per cardstock. You can do a column that splits it, also when printing depending on your printer you have the option of picking different ways, for example my printer can print 2 or 4 images per page, so i can also just click that option and it will do it for me.

Wouldn't the dimensions be 7x10 if you stacked them on top of each other? You only need to double one dimension, right?

yea i was going to say is you set up the layout landscape then you would have the two invitations side by side and an inch to spare vertically and horizontally
