Ladies who HAD a shower already

Hello ladies!
Did you know everyone at your shower? Or did you meet some people from the groom's side for the first time?

There was only 1 person who I really didn't know. I met her 1 other time about 2 months ago at FMIL's bday.

I met a lot of people from DH's side for the first time that day. Not his family, but his mother's co-workers and some of her cousins that I had never met. And considering we've been together for over 10 years, that's saying a lot, lol.

i had a very small shower at my mom's house but i knew everyone.

I knew everyone. The RD is when I started meeting people like crazy since we invited the OOT guests.

Haven't had my shower yet, but.....

My mom was planning to have a super small, intimate shower, but my FMIL wanted ALL of her friends and OOT guests invited. Originally, my mom said she didn't think it was a good idea, but when my FMIL offered to send out her own invites, my mom just sent the real ones to everyone who was put on the list.

I gave my mom a list of my closest friends and I know all of my family..... so I think I'll know most of the people, but we'll find out in a few weeks about thes rest of them. HA

there was 1 person who i hadnt met from fh's side, there were a handful that i had met once or twice

I haven't had mine yet but I can tell you I won't know half the guests. I've hardly met any of FH's mom's family....

I met about 5 of his moms friends for the first time. He doesnt have cousins or Aunts so there was no family I was meeting for the first time.

I met alot of my MIL's friends at my shower for the first time. I heard of them through stories and was able to put a name to a face for the first time that day.

i think there were 2-3 ppl i hadn't met from FH's side, but I knew everyone else.

I knew everyone except 1 person.

My mom's best friend brought her son's friend (hopefully soon she will be his gf ) that I didn't know. Her daughter was supposed to come to the shower but got called into work, and the other girl was nice enough to come at the last minute (and my mom didn't get stuck paying for an extra meal lol).
