I met some people at the shower from my husband's side for the first time. They live a distance so I only knew them through stories. It was nice to be able to put a face to the stories.

I had met everyone at least once. 2 of the people there I was not AS familiar with. That was my one fear.. not knowing the people there! Thankfully it all ended up being fine!
