so FH and his BM just proppsed the idea of red and white converse sneakers to me. my colors are red black and white.
my question is...Does Fh wear them too the entire time? does he wear normal shoes for the pics with me and ceremony and change at the reception?
what are you girls doing or have done? thanks

I don't think FH is wearing sneakers at all, but if he did, I wouldn't let him do it at the church. I think if he changes for the reception that's fine, but I wouldn't do sneakers in church.

My cousin wore Converses when he got married and the entire time he wore them. It looked really great in pictures. He wore white Converses while his GM wore black and white. They didn't have a church wedding they had their ceremony at their RH.

Fh is probably going to wear white addidas shell tops for the reception. He is also probably gonna give them to the groomsmen as gifts so they can all have them. He plans on wearing tux shoes at the church and during some pics they they all change and rock the sneakers.
I love the idea!

oh we arent getting married at the church...we're having the ceremony at the RH
i was thinking of having him wear shoes for the ceremony and for some pictures with me (we're taking pics before)
then when he takes pics with the GM's and for the reception he can wear the converse?

We are giving our groomsmen sneakers as gifts to wear the day of the wedding. I think the groomsmen are going to wear them all day but FH will wear tux shoes for the church and then change into sneakers after church.

mine r wearing them the whole time, includng FH. He wants to be comfortble and cons r so comfy to him. i'm wearing a pair too, for part of the night

personally I'm against the idea. but if my fiance really really wanted to do it - reception only. I'm not getting married in a church but I wouldn't want that in pictures for the ceremony regardless.

I saw this done... and it was AWESOME!!! I say rock em all day long!! Show those bad boys off. wear em to the church and the reception. its part of the charm and GREAT photo op!!!!!

we are doing the dame thing! t's up to him, but personally I would think he would wear them the whole day (even in the church). I love the way the sneakers look in pics!
Also, I plan on getting my two ring bearers the slip on checkered Vans (I think those look so adorable on kids

what we ended up deciding is that my fh will wear his shoes during the ceremony and change to sneakers for the reception. the GM's will wear them all day
