So I've thinking about my wedding month August.. And I'm sort of freaking out since Hurricane Irene in 2011 Was in August!!
So I'm just curious..What made you choose your Wedding Date?! Also What months are the most popular for weddings?

Ladies... Why did you Choose your DATE?
We were originally booked in January 2014, but then FH got a new job that only lets him carry a small number of vacation days over per calendar year. We're going to Australia and New Zealand for our honeymoon, so a week wouldn't cut it. We bounced back and forth between November and December and then decided it would be awesome to have the venue decorated for Christmas. I admit, I do cringe a little whenever anyone realizes its Pearl Harbor Day, but unfortunately it was the only Saturday in December that worked.

We chose August 2 bc we are both teachers. We wanted time before the wedding to do last minute things (and get tan, lol ) and then have enough time afterwards to relax and go on our honeymoon before school starts up again!
You're getting married the day I originally wanted. Its my parents anniversary so a good day!
Well.. FH and I decided on our date even before we were engaged. We are both bad with dates and whenever people asked us when our dating anniversary was... I'd either just say 'There were pumpkins involved...' or I'd text my mom and ask her (because our first date is the same day she ended up getting laid off from her job)... so when we were talking about getting married we were thinking of a nice easy way to remember it... so I was like... well what about like... 11/12/13 or 12/13/14? So we agreed on 12/13/14... and he used that to his advantage and proposed on 12/13/12 :)
Also.. now I remember our dating anniversay. 10/13/11 ... we apparently like the number 13 :)

Well I originally wanted September then I realized that If I start my semester in sept I won't be able to leave on my honeymoon.. So we figured Late August would be perfect.. A BM suggested the 08/24 & our anniversary is 04/28 so it's funny that it has all the same numbers.. So we fell in love with the date! Lol

We knew we wanted our wedding in the beginning of September. I didn't want to do anything Labor Day Weekend since it's a holiday and my husband's birthday is September 14th so we went with September 7th since that was the day the hall and Church were both available.

I knew I didn't want it during the fall or winter. And I didn't want summer because it would be too hot. So I chose May. After finding out how expensive a Saturday night could be especially for the amount of people we were going to have (over 200 we ended up with 250ish). So I decided the Sunday before Memorial Day because most people would have off the next day.

FH wanted a fall wedding. Fall 2013 only gave us 8-9 months of planning and we thought it was too short. We looked into October, and when FH heard 10-4 (like '10-4 over and out') he was like there ya go!! lol plus our date is 10/4/14 ... 10+4=14. Stupid but I also like even numbers.

FH and I love the fall. It was something we knew we wanted before we even got engaged. We chose October 5th because the weather is still nice and not typically cold.

I took the only date my venue had available according to when he was off from medical school. We also wanted a Sunday date because of the 'twilight' special. It starts at 430 and ends at 10. There for its a mixture of an afternoon and night wedding.

We just picked the date that fell into our price range. It just so happens that its only 2 days into November, so we get the cheaper pricing, but the prime weather (FINGERS CROSSED). Plus the neumerology is cool too- 11+2=13
