Ladies with dry hair

Ladies with dry hair

I have very curly course hair and it tends to get really dry. I hve done those quicky hot oil treatments, but I decided to try something else. I had the day off yesterday so I did something that my hairdresser told me about. I washed my hair and than put one ounce of jojoba oil (you can also use sweet almond oil or olive oil) in my wet hair and wore a shower cap all day, and then washed it out at night. I kept it in for like 10 hours, and today my hair is amazing! I also read in my fitness mag that you can mix 1 banana and 1 avocado and do the same thing. I just figured I would share!

Another tip is to massage oil in your hair and leave it in overnight. Sleep with a towel over your bedsheets and your hair in a bun. Wash it out in the morning and you have shiny hair for at least a week.

As nasty as this sounds, But along with the avocado that you read about you can also mix that with mayo. It really does smell but makes your hair very soft and shiny. LOL!!!!

My mom used to put mayo in my hair in the summer then wrap my hair and send me off to the backyard to lay near our pool.

It smells so horrible but it really works. My mom would always put it in my hair. She still tries to convince me now, so I do it once in a while. She mixes Mayo, Olive Oil, Cinnamon, Avocado, and some other stuff. LOL!!! It's horrible.

where do you get that? I usually get a glaze at the hair salon every like 3 months its like a super deep conditioning treatment only cost like $30 but that would be good to do in between

oh wow...that brought me way back....My mom used to do that to my hair and it really works. I remember she used to make a concoction of the mayo, egg yolk, olive oil and garlic then would switch it up w/ avocado or garlic.and it used to leave my hair super soft and shinny.

I can't do all of that now but will try it a few months before the wedding. I now use Nexxus emergencee and Keraphixx shampoo and cond. I swear by it.

They made fun of me though but I always remember my hair being a project....it still is. lol
