LaFamiglia - Plainview

Hi! Thinking of having a small birthday party there for DH.

Any thoughts on the food there? Never ate there, just a recommendation to check it out.

If not there, can you possibly suggest a 'family style' restaurant?

Thanks soooo much!!

La Viola in Syosset or La Parma in Huntington are great

I've been to the one in Smithtown (same owners) and the food is really really good! Large portions too!

Same here. The owner's name is Rosario and he's AMAZING.

If you're looking for a similar family style Italian place, then go to La Parma (I've only ever been to the Williston Park location though).

La Viola is waaaaaaaaay better. So is Domenico's, but they aren't family style.

I went to a bridal shower there in February. I remember the food was very good!

My brother had his RD there and BIL had his grad dinner there. Love it, food is great, and they fill your wine glasses to the top!
