Laguna Beach!

Who watched last night? I couldn't believe it when Kristen went to LC's house and didn't even say anything to her - and then Steven left with her (some things never change).

Do you think MTV set up Jason's meeting with Jessica? Ugh, why is he always calling her?!? I thought it was nice that she said he should call LC.

I wonder if LC and Jason will get back together before the end of the season?

Oh and I thought next week's episode looks SO boring.

At some point she is taking him back, since they are currently dating.

WOW I didn't realize they were still dating.

I just read that next week is the season finale- that stinks. Here is the article:

Hold on to your bikinis - something big will be revealed at the conclusion of next week's season finale of 'Laguna Beach: The Real O.C.,' promised executive producer Tony DiSanto.
'There will be a couple of surprises that are going to tip off some great new stuff coming up on the channel,' DiSanto said.

One thing we do know is that the episode, Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV, will provide clues about the third season of the network's biggest hit since 'The Osbournes' - namely, who's going to be in the cast.

'There will be some familiar faces and some new faces,' said DiSanto.

Many of the current cast members, including Stephen, who was at the center of the Lauren (aka LC)/Kristin love triangle, have left the confines of Laguna. And Seventeen cover girl Kristin, the show's breakout star, is surely way too busy appearing on red carpets to keep up with the high jinks of 'Laguna.'

The finale, like last season's, will be commercial-free, with cast members in front of a live audience in MTV's Times Square studio dishing and reminiscing. The episode will feature a denouement between Stephen and Kristin.

As the reality series prepares for its next season, much has been made of 'Laguna's' 'looks-too-good-to-be-true' veneer.

DiSanto admitted some tinkering with reality is going on.

'If they're going to a restaurant where we know we won't be able to shoot,' said DiSanto, 'we might ask them, 'Hey, would you mind going to one that does allow us to shoot so we can get some story?' Other times, if something goes down the night before and the kids are going to get together to talk about it the next day and our cameras aren't there, we might ask them to wait a beat until our cameras can get there.'

But none of that matters.

For the fans, said DiSanto, the question is: 'Is this good storytelling, and am I going to get into it?'

The answer so far has been a resounding yes.

The network will try to re-create that success with the Miami-set 'Eight & Ocean,' which follows aspiring fashion models. That show premieres early next year.

I am usually a big Kristin fan, but I was disappointed that she was so rude to LC. LC didn't have to invite her and had no reason to invite her and Kristin acknowledged that it seemed to be an effort to make peace. I can’t believe the whole dress code made her so insecure. 'Hi, Lauren' is only three syllables.
I was happy that LC was able to stick up for herself to Jason, even if it is only temporary.

Only one episode left of drunken teenage drama.

I just watched it b/c I missed it Monday. I can't believe Kristen just walked into LC's house and said nothing I was shocked
