Has anyone been? Im trying to book a trip for my husbands 30th birthday and im confused on where to stay..I like modern stuff not like log cabin looking places..any ideas?

Try rental homes or look for resorts. Lake Tahoe is beyond gorgeous! One of my favorite places!! Actually, it's where my FH proposed! Good luck!

i thought Mont Bleu looked nice..but there was some negativity on tripadvisor..so now im stuck..i want it to be really nice and in a great spot

Lake Tahoe is beautiful. I stayed at Caesar's when I went. Not sure if you wanted a casino or not. Squaw Valley was awesome, if you ski. I also went snowmobiling and that was a lot of fun. I can try to find out the name of the place if you want.
