Re: lame?
I'm thinking there must be something else than a scarf. It doesn't say 'love' to me. What about a heart pot holder? I totally stink at ideas.

Re: lame?
haha no i totally agree.. i'm just desperately trying to figure out what to do as favors and nothing is popping up at us. i wanted to do the wine favors but they'd probably end up being like 8 bucks a person and i cant spend that type of money

How many scarves do you plan on crocheting?!?!?!?
We did Lindt Chocolate Truffles in boxes. Half were eaten by the time the day was done

Re: lame?
We went to the Lindt outlet store in Riverhead and got bags of truffles. They were very cheap to do. You can see the finished product and what vendors I used on my review that I just put up.
Boxes were $24. Labels were $73 Chocolate was about $85-90 Ribbon and tissue paper I don't remember because that was a week before the wedding so I stoped keeping track.

Re: lame?
I did heart shape boxes with 'wedding' M&Ms
While I can saw, knit, etc...I could not see myself spending all that time on a DYI project that big. That is going to be so time consuming.
How much do you think the supplies are going to cost, plus your time not devoted on something else?
While, a nice idea, I would opte for a less time consuming favor.
Candy/chocolate are always a favorite.

Re: lame?
The potholder idea sounds great. A scarf would be more for a shower.
