Land's End Brides

Any Land's End Brides out there?? If you're having the ceremony there, how are you decorating the gazebo?? Can you recommend a florist that is familiar with Land's End? Also, what kind of music are you having during cocktail hour?? Any ideas would be great. Thanks!!!!

I just got married outside at Lands End on 9/8. I actually wasn't going to put flowers on the gazebo, but I got lucky because there was a wedding the day before and they kept the flowers up!! My florist, West Sayville Florist, did a great job with the rest of my flowers and they are VERY familiar with Lands End. Lands End recommends them. Lands End also recommends another florist, but I forget the name. I would call whoever you're dealing with at Lands End and ask them. Good luck!

As for the music, we thought about having a calypso band, but we decided to go with a DJ so we could play Sinatra, James Taylor, etc. My DJ played for a half hour and my aunt, a professional piano player, played for the last 30 minutes.

We're having our ceremony there -- But since it will be the end of March I'm thinking it will be indoors. We're just going to have two altar pieces at the top of the aisle and our centerpieces are going to be on pedestals down the aisle.

I booked Flower Michele. John has worked there before and is very familiar with the whole set up, indoors or out. Lisat had her wedding there and used him also.
