Can't really help but I can say I was at a wedding there years ago...beautiful place!
I didn't go there personally, but I do recommend 'using' other similar venue's price quotes in your negotiations. Especially if there is a place they view as a competitor, if you mention well so and so's was giving us x y and z for that price or they were x amount less pp they may be willing to meet you half way or match price rather then lose you to a different venue. Good Luck!
i never got to the full negotiating with them. when i met with them i fell in love with the place but in just talking to them they were not flexible at all. in the end I just couldn't see them really accommodating me or negotiating so I didn't really try. for what they were offering me & the price it was just crazy so I looked elsewhere. good luck. place is beautiful!
My dads coworker just told me he got $10pp off the price but he's getting married in march (off season), didn't tell me the specific number, and I don't know him well at all so he could be completely lying lol! The place is beautiful though so good luck!!
My friend booked there for June 2015 and they were not flexible with her at all. Even though she's getting the price per plate and cocktail hours for a high cost with nothing tossed in, extras, or any discounts. she booked the venue because it's her dream and she couldn't be happier! She chose a saturday morning/ midday wedding to make it work for her! :)
Def try to negotiate. The worst they can say is no. We played the 'were broke teachers paying for our own wedding' card and got $10 off per person at our venue. It's worth a try. They weren't budging but then offered that as their best offer.
