Re: Land's End opinions

I heard great things about Land's End. FH and I went there for a bridal expo because we were originally thinking of having our wedding there. Unfortunately, it's VERY expensive so we decided not to go that route. But my cousin went to a wedding there and loved it! She said the food was amazing.

IMO super super pricey and the layout was not the greatest, esp if you are having a large # of guests.

Re: Land's End opinions

my cousin had her wedding here last summer...the food is some of the best wedding food i've ever had and they are known for that...she had about 150 and there was plenty of room during dinner and on the dance floor...everything about the place seemed very nice and we all enjoyed the wedding...the views are great too esp when the ferry starts running...

I was a guest at a wedding there. The cocktail hour was a little tight because it rained and they couldn't utilize the outside area. However, if it didn't rain the grounds are beautiful. There were about 180 guests and the room was fine. The dinner food was excellent. She had a waffle with prosciutto, mozz, and tomato. It was great because it was sweet and salty. Then I had a shrimp and lobster crepe and it was amazing. I liked it because it was different then the typical wedding food like some other places.

My big sis just got married there this past June...it was the most fabulous day ever. In my opinion, you can't beat the setting if you want to get married on the waterfont. The prices were reasonable, Jenny was fabulous with customer service and explaining everything...and the food was terrific. Please feel free to FM me if you'd like any additional info!

My husband and I were married at Lands End and it was the best day of our lives. During the cocktail hour everyone had a seat, the food was out of this world. The staff that we worked with couldn't have been any nicer. To this day our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

If you have any questions just ask.

I went there for a wedding. I though the grounds and the outside were amazing! I love that the cocktail hour was on the water and i thought the food was pretty good. The inside i think i was just expecting a little more. They had a very large number of guest so i think that had a lot to do with it. I know its a bit pricy but i am not sure if its worth as much as they charge.

Re: Land's End opinions

Thanks everyone

My mom's only planning on having about 50 guests (on a weekday so they'll lower their minimums) so space & seating shouldn't be a problem.

She's going to see them tomorrow so we'll see what happens

ps: anyone have experience negotiating with them? did they lower their prices or throw in freebies for you?

thanks again!
