Land's End tasting
It was unbelievable! Making a decision about which dish to choose is going to be impossible! Everything is so delicious! If you're a Land's End bride, you won't be disappointed.

I just had mine at Flowerfield and it was great! Good luck!
OMG...was it not UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
I mean I expected great...but this was fantabulousrific!!!!
For the combination course we are going with the portabello napoleon
then our 3 courses will be
1. filet mignon
2. double cut pork loin (my moms family is german)
3. the combination of veal oscar, herb roasted chicken and chilean sea bass.
Im actually going to meet with audreys this week and design a cake...:)
but the cakes and desserts at the tasting were superb as well...
It made me SOOOO excited!!!
I can't believe its FINALLY almost here!!!
happy planning
What's the combo dinner? I don't remember hearing about that...
we are doing the combo appetizer (we coverted the lobster risotto purse into a combo)
We're getting
Filet Mignon
Chilean Sea Bass
LI Duck
... is outrageous! Great choice girls! : ) My guests that had it have not stopped talking about it (9 months later!) and the ones who didn't have it keep saying they should have!
I was stuffed from the cocktail hour, but I made sure I ate mine. Too good for words!!! : )
That is the dish I had when I went to a wedding there last October, and it was great! The food was very good and I'm VERY picky about the food I eat. You wont be disappointed.
Continued success to all...
I am having my wedding at Flowerfield. I havent tried the food yet and was worried. (You just never know about wedding food)! But now I am so excited that I chose a lovin oven caterer! I can't wait until my tasting....thanks ladies!
I went for the tasting about a month ago and they introduced the combo entree, but they told us that if we chose it, that would be our only choice. Did they make an exception for you? or should I ask them about it? We loved the filet and the pork also, but we are undecided about the third choice, so if we could do the combo also that would be great! Thanks
I also just went for my tasting last weekend and they told me that if you choose the triple dish then you can only choose 1 other option. But, they also said that we could change what was on the triple, so we were thinking of doing the triple with: chicken, lamb and filet mignon and then also having the sea bass. I hope I understood him correctly. Hope this helps.
I, too, was told that if we pick the combination dinner platter that we could only choose one other thing. We want our guests to have three choices, so I think we're going with the veal, filet mignon, and the sea bass.
Has anyone tried the duck at Land's End? I was set on having that on my menu, but everyone loved the chicken so much at the tasting that I'll probably go with that instead. I still think the duck is more exciting than the chicken, but I hesistate to go with something I haven't heard anything about - especially when everyone liked the chicken so much.
Did you get to try it at your tasting? I'm so jealous! I wonder if they'll let me crash another tasting.
we had the duck appetizer at our tasting but not the entree.
