Lands End...Lombardi's on the Bay... Swan Club..Georgio's????
Hi girls!! Ok my best friend and (pregnant) MOH is engaged now and is just beginning her planning process.
I was just looking to see if I could get some info for her and some ideas.
If any of you lovely brides or brides to be have any pricing info on either Lands End, Lombardi's on the Sound, Swan Club and Giorgio's.... that would be super! She is looking for a May or June wedding, but any info you have would be helpful!
TIA girls!!!

Lands end quoted me 185 pp on a Sat night in August. Had to guarantee 200 people.
I dont know pricing for SC or LOTB but I'm sure its a lot less. Don't know what her budget is.

Re: Lands End...Lombardi's on the Bay... Swan Club..Georgio's????
I visited Land's End and Giorgio's
I am booked at Lombardi's on the Bay so I am biased!
Land's End is around that 185 pp for a summer wedding Giorgios is around 150pp
LOB is under that
they all have very different looks
Land's End is very simple and plain, high ceilings in ballroom but gorgeous location and view- FH used to be in wedding industry and said Land's End is hands down the best catering food he has ever had
LOB is also simple but a little more elegant, pretty chandeliers and moldings, high ceilings, gorgeous view, on the water- It's Lombardi's so the food is amazing!
Giorgios outdoor area is to die for! it's absolutely gorgeous the view from the patio is amazing..however their carpet was a big turn off to FH & I and the ceiling dips kinda low over the dancefloor- they are great to work with, father, son team super nice and Ive heard the food is really good.
anything else you want to know FM me...I have prices but they are for 2010

Sorry, don't have a quote but I just wanted to say that I went to a wedding at Giorgio's last year for a wedding and everything was fantastic! I do know that the bride and groom paid for everything themselves and were on a tight budget, so I can't imagine they are too pricey. Good luck!

Same here - no price quotes, but I went to a wedding at Giorgio's and it was STUNNING! I would've loved to married there... it was just too far east for my DH's family who was coming from OOT.

LOL I know what you mean! And we're from BROOKLYN so Baiting Hollow was like the journey to the end of the earth for us. If I was a Suffolk girl I would have absolutely considered it though!

How big of a wedding is she having??? Lombardi's on the Bay is kinda small. Giorgio's is beautiful, especially in the summer months because the outside is amazing... something I'll be missing in November there besides for the pictures we take during the daylight hours.

i'm getting married at Giorgio's and i have to say that i am SO happy with my decision... I haven't heard a bad thing about it!!! Quotes above are correct for a Saturday night. Friday's are slightly lower, but not much.
Oh, and about the carpeting, they are actually changing it soon so that will be new as well!
FH me if you have any questions! Happy to help!

I got married at Lombardi on the Bay and they were amazing!!!! I had a 144 guests and it was perfect. It was a little tight but I don't like places that are so large that people don't really interact with each other.
It was a Sunday evening wedding (4th of July) and it was 99.95 pp ++. Hope that helps.

No one mentioned SC so I thought I'd jump in :) I have my wedding booked there on a Sat. night in July and its about 135 pp...not too bad. I've loved working with them so far and have heard great reviews!! I wasn't willing to change month, date, or time of day--some people don't mind. Hope this helps!

Also Lands End charges the same for May as they do October weddings. June, July, August & September are higher priced. If she goes for a Friday or Sunday in May, it will be much less priced.

Re: Lands End...Lombardi's on the Bay... Swan Club..Georgio's????
Land's End - I've been to a weddign there in July and it was on a Sunday and it was beautiful - especially for the outdoor cocktail and ceremony. I'm getting married at Flowerfield and Land's End was my second choice and they are both owned by the same parent company - which is known to have by far the BEST food and service. Land's end's prices do come down if you move it to a friday or sunday..
Lombardi's on the Sound - I hear they have good food and I went there to check it out and the view of the sound is absolutley beautiful. I was not a fan of the ceremony space b/c it was a bit too small for the amount of guests I would need to accomodate and I also felt the room was a little small with these columns surrounding the dance floor (I think) that may obstruct the view. I also didn't like the cocktail hour space in relation to the main room.
Just my opinions...everyone is different and holds more weight to certain criteria!

I don't know the current pricing for Giorgio's because I booked in 2008 and my wedding was this past November. But just wanted to share that they dud an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. I can't think of one thing that was not flawless. The staff was beyond attentive...food was amazing.

Re: Lands End...Lombardi's on the Bay... Swan Club..Georgio's????
Swan Club in October for the Largest Room (Camelot) on a Saturday night was $95 pp with a minimum of 165 people + tax and service charges. If you added the Platinum Package (All the bells and whistles) that was an extra $20 a head. If I remember correctly, to have it on a Friday night it was $75pp and an extra $20 for the Platinum Package + tax and service charges. Please keep in mind I was quoted these prices in 2009. My Saturday night wedding ended up costing $149pp after all was said and done.
