Lanterns for the aisle?

Lanterns for the aisle?

Ok, so I found awesome candle lanterns at Christmas tree shops for cheappppp.

My thought was to hang them with ribbon on the outside chairs going down the aisle. (Does that make sense? )

But now I'm thinking that my ceremony is at 5:30 on the longest day of the year.....so will you even see it?!

I always envisioned this look...but now I'm thinking it will just look silly?

Thoughts?

But will you even be able to see the lit lanterns?
I'm starting to think it might just look silly if you can't even see that they're lit?

I dunno. Maybe it'll still look nice?

hmmm, i think you might not be able to get the effect your going for during the ceremony, but is there a place for them in the RH. Maybe a few on the cake table, and by the place cards? Just an idea.

Yeah - I think so! Should I use them for both then? Or just for inside?

i would use them for both! Even when they're not lit, they look pretty, and then they'll have a totaly different look when they're inside!

what do they look like? like, would they still look cute if they're not lit (or if you can't see the light)....b/c obviously you're right, it won't be dark enough to see the light....but I know some lanterns still are really cute and would still be cute along the aisle....any pics?

Yes, they would look cute. I don't have a pic, but they're wooden, white, and 6 sided (with glas on each side). Really cute....

they sound really cute!! I would definitely use them even if you don't light them for the ceremony! If you can double dip and use them later inside, why not? go for it!

Do it! If you can't use them going up the aisle, it will look really pretty on the CH tables. And the 7 bucks a pop, you can't go wrong.
