Laproscopy surgery........ (Help! kind of nervous for my sister...)

My older sister has been trying to get pregnant for over a year now, and had 1 miscarriage, and has been thru all the testing, and so far nothing, just a fibroid and a strange shaped uterus. She is going for laproscopy surgery next week, and I am so nervous for her.She and I have been thru a lot together, our mom died 10 years ago and my dad died almost 2 years ago. She is all we have left from our family of 4. She does not want me to go to the hospital, it is outpatient surgery, and my BIL will be there and she does not want to have to put me thru this-, being in a hospital setting. So, if it is endometrosis they will take care of it. I am just so nervous. Has anyone had this surgery or know anything about it. I just want her to be happy and get pregnant and make her a Mommy and me an aunt.

I had laproscopic surgery to remove my gall bladder and it was good. Not too much pain and a really quick recovery! I'm sure she will be just fine! But here are some hugs

I had this surgery last December and will have it again in a few weeks.

Don't worry! It is a very easy surgery! I had a fallopian tube removed and the other repaired. It didn't work so now the other one has to come out

I was so nervous about it, but it was no big deal. I had 3 incisions...one in my belly button and two on either sides but lower down. I wouldn't even say it hurt, just uncomfortable. I just felt sore like I did 500 situps. It took me less than a week to fully recover.

I'm not even sweating it this time!!

I work on a floor that does dozens of laparoscopic surgeries a day and I care for the patients after. The patients usually cannot believe how simple the surgery is and what minimal pain (mostly soreness) they feel at the incision sites afterwards.
Tell your sister good luck

I know this surgery is very common so try not to worry but this is much easier said than done.
I hope all goes well and she is blessed with a child soon.
