Larger Gown Sizes- Where to go?

Larger Gown Sizes- Where to go?

Hi all! Hope everyone is having fun planning!

So, I went to try on gowns this Friday for the first time, and I have to admit I was rather disappointed. The only dress sizes the stores we went to carried in the gowns I liked were sizes 8 and 10. Unfortunately for me, I am heavier and couldn't fit into any of them. We are going to David's tomorrow because they carry larger sizes, and I want to get a better idea of which styles I like better for my shape.

Can anyone recommend another store I can go to try on gowns that have larger sizes (other than David's)???

Thanks so much!

I second this one as well. I ended up getting my dress and my bridal party dresses here. YAY! Love them and they are so so helpful.

Try RK Bridal in the city and The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park...both have HUGE selections in all sizes.

if you want to save yourself a trip, you could call and ask what sizes they have available to try on.

Wedding center in commack has a lot of large size dress.

I am not getting my dress there but it is a great place to try on dress because they have a lot of options in larger sizes.

I am ordering my dress from Princess Bridal in Farmingdale. I was able to try on many different styles in my size and they made me feel really good while I was there.
