i knowwwww i'm so excited for june! PS i would be SO nervous if i was that July bride that posts on their facebook. I'm glad we have a few months buffer!!

Looks really nice!
I'm still confused as to why when we met with them they were readily available to book us for May-2013, if they wouldn't even have a place to have our reception though?

when did you meet them?

When we went in early Oct 2011, they acted like the 'news' of renovation wasnt released yet... so if you went earlier, maybe the reno dates werent set?

I believe it was early October 2011 as well! We had attended a bridal show there and went in and spoke with Maryanne(?) that night.

thanks! lol. they post on facebook pretty regularly and my mom lives over there, but im not going to visit for at LEAST a week as my mom has the flu! :(

While it sounds like the new Larkfield will be gorgeous, I'm happy that I didn't book as I would have had major added stress hahaha

I so agree that I wouldn't want to be that July bride.. thankfully we've had a pretty mild winter (knock on wood) and they have been able to move right along.. it's so fun driving past it on the way to work everyday and seeing the progress!
10 months from TODAY I will be there having my wedding!!!!! Can't wait!

funny you 2 are saying that because we ALMOST booked Larkfield manor but we were 100% set on getting married on July 28th this year and we were too nervous about cutting it too close with the renovations. If we were able to do a fall wedding we would have booked there a later date!!

The July price was very tempting... I considered booking in July... Not fond of the Oct date because it's right after my b-day but what can you do.... The first wedding is July 3rd and they are booked day and evening right through July.... But this is when I booked in Sept...

I believe they said 10 OR 12. I totally know what you are talking about. I want to go meet with my florist but I can't until I know what the space looks like. Hopefully by May or June we should be able to check it all out.

used to be 14-16 when they had oval tables!

really? i'm not sure. i think it depends on the shape of the room. i liked the oval with the longer room, but now that it's going to be more square i'm not sure. also it costs more in centerpieces LOL
