Larkfield Brides- What hotel did you work with?

I've been trying to call the Holiday inn in Happague that works with Larkfield and I always get the sales managers v-mail. I leave a message and no return call.....

Have any of you worked or are working with this hotel for OOT guests? Any other hotels I should check out near Larkfield??

I am currently pulling my hair out trying to find the perfect hotel near Larkfield. They recommend Winngate INN of Commack (actually in Brentwood) and Holiday Inn Express Hauppauge. They provide free shuttle to/from larkfield. The winngate is new but next to a gardening/mulch place and down the road from a big sex shop. The outside smells like manure )yuck). The hotel manager said it only smells that way during the week (but I'm still nervous) I called the Holiday Inn & the lady Kerri was a little snotty (just my opinion) her rate was like $40 more and when I asked if it was the best rate she said 'well you're getting a free shuttle, we have to make money somewhere' RUDE, she could have phrased it differently.
I have checked out soo many other hotels & still haven't picked the perfect one. Ugghh this shouldn't be such a big deal-it's just a hotel! FH thinks I'm NUTS!! hahah
Anyway, If anyone knows of a nice hotel preferrably with a bar, free breakfast and maybe even a free shutttle (now I'm pushing it!) Please let me know! Also I don't want my guests to pay too much!

Why don't you try the Sheraton on Motor Parkway ? They had reasonable rates for our wedding. They also have a restaurant, bar and pool.

No shuttle for weddings but it's very nice. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
