Larkfield manor 2014?

Anyone book Larkfield Manor based on their pictures of their new renovations. I am tempted to check it out and hoping for a good deal since you can't see the actual building. I am look for July/Aug 2014 anyone get any quotes from them with after construction prices?

Also I have about 150-175 people. I think I want to go back to my 'one wedding at a time' original thought. Anyone have quotes on

Westbury Manor
The vineyards
Thatched Cottage
The Woodlands
Flowerfields

Even if they are summer 2013 quotes im open to a f/sat/sun.

Thank you all!

Anyone else newly engaged? It's been 10 days and im already planning

Larkfield manor 2014?

They tried to get us to book before they started construction (which we knew nothing about when we met with them - they didn't tell FH when he made the apt), which would have been a little less than $100 pp (I believe) then told us that if we waited until after they started construction it would be around $140-$150 pp. I don't know if they are still saying that price though, since my quote for October 2013 was from January 2012.

Re: Larkfield manor 2014?

I am booked to have my wedding at Larkfield in April of 2014 on a friday night. The rate I received was extremely reasonable but they also cut us a deal because my fiances 2 sisters both had their weddings there in the past 3 years.

To be honest it was NOT my first choice for a venue based on how it looked originally. The renovation pictures plus the pictures Peter showed me during our meetings were truly modern and breath-taking.

He had mentioned there would be a dramatic increase in price once the renovations would be complete but based on what I have experienced there, it is really worth it.

In terms of the 'one wedding at a time'- that was my biggest issue. Since I was the first to book for my date I got to control what room I got and reserving the bridal suite all for myself (and bridesmaids) for the whole day/night. They make it feel personalized. If you are the first to reserve that day- you definitely have the upper hand.
