Just wondering if anyone has checked it out, has gotten pricing or went to a wedding there.
Thanks

FH and I are getting married there next year. We have been treated so well by everyone there. It is gorgeous and let me tell you the food is fantastic! FH and I went for our tasting 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. FH is italian and the food is really important to him. Everyone I have talked to about the hall has told me nothing but good things about the food and the service. Their prices are also really reasonable. They did all of these renovations and the place looks gorgeous. Go and check it out for yourself, its the only way you'll know.

Re: Larkfield Manor
I absolutely loved Larkfield Manor when I went there in July.....everyone was so friendly and the BM seemed extremely accomodating. I would have had my reception there in a heartbeat....but FH didn't want to have it in Suffolk!!!
If people are saying negative things I'm sure its from the previous management.....I believe the current BM's were the managers of the Floral Terrace previously (not sure if they still are).
You have to see this place for yourself- the rooms are amazing!!! And they were offering a HUGE menu.

I was just wondering what they quoted you, ive talked to some people and it seems that what they quote changes significantly with the people that they are dealing with.

I am getting married there in June and I love the place. Harry and George are the nicest guys. I have not done a food tasting yet but I heard their food is great. My Fh's best friend went to a wedding there with his wife 3 weeks ago and they both said that it was great.

Re: Larkfield Manor
I am sorry, but I disagree with everyone's negative feedback. My sister got married there this past june and a good friend just got married there this past August. The service and food is fabulous. I once gave a negative feedback before the new owner took over. Ever since the new owner took over 2 years ago or so, ALOT has changed - Service, Food, the Look of the place.
The weddings I have been there, everyone was on top of things. I never had to get up once for a drink, which was very impressive. I decided to book there myself after my sister's wedding. Harry is great and Frank who is the Maitre D' is awesome. Such 2 great people who have a great personality and are on top of things as well as the other workers.
Just take in consideration that when you do pick a place, the most important thing to worry about it - service, food, and cost and Larkfield has it all. The gardens are beautiful. I think you should at least look at it.
Good Luck!!

Re: Larkfield Manor
I live near there and I like it, they're really nice especially since they redid it, the only reason we aren't going with them is in high school we had our music dept. dinner there every year, so I was afraid it would feel like I was back in high school.

Re: Larkfield Manor
Just had my wedding there...my girl Thumper was there...couldn't have asked for more...we actuallly were there yesterday for another wedding...just fabulous...it really is one of the best places on the island...if your top priority is good food, customer service, a clean place, and a reasonable price...this is the place to go. They went beyond my expectations!!!

Re: Larkfield Manor
I went to wedding there last weekend and I thought everything was great- the food was delicious, staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was nice as well. I didn't even realize there was another party going on until the end of the night when we went to get our car. I'd definitely recommend it.

Re: Larkfield Manor
I did not have a good experience there when i went with my sister for her wedding - though i grew up in the area, i am still just not crazy about its location - staff we spoke to was not really informed or able to answer questions -
