I was thinking of that but could I really take pics there for 2 hours?? Also there is another wedding there until 6 so I really dont think they want me there before that

I love love love larkfield but I really wish they had a bigger area to take pics

we took pictures in the front area at the gazebo and beridge but also in the back by the ceremony area - - unless the other wedding will be there at that time.

I put together a video in my lib of pics at Larkfield if you'd like to check that.

there is also a park by the harbor nearby that some girls have used. maybe someone can tell you about that.

I am having the same issue. Almost every park in East Northport or surrounding towns you need a permit to take pics in. I like the grounds of Larkfield but I agree I wish they had more too. FH and I looked into taking pics at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport but I just recently read they may be closing b/c their not making enough $$. It's 200 for the first hour to take pics. I really don't want to to that but its the only place I know and before i give them a deposit i want to make sure they're staying open. There is a main part of town in northport on the water but its super busy especially on a nice day. there's a lot of ppl and sometimes fairs going on. I'm worried a dog will be peeing in the background in my pics. hahaha.

I am looking into planting fields arboretum in oyster bay. its very pretty and $120 to take pics..I am just concerned with how much time i have in between so I wanted to explore other options

I thought about there too but I don't think i'll have enough time. We are having a 'day' wedding so we have to be up super early as it is. We're seeing eachother b4 the ceremony but we are having our immediate family come to the RH an hour or so early to take pics.. Its a 35 minutes drive each way from the hotel to Oyster Bay for us that morning. Do they have a 'rain' policy?
