Larkfield Manor Vs Chateau Briand

My sister booked with CB but when to visit Larkfield Manor (is that the name?) last night and fell in love...its a little bit less $$....which is always a good thing! but we dont know how the food tastes there...

Anyone have any pro's or cons to each? I have never been to LM before...How's the food?

i never tasted the food...

i kno this doesnt help but my opinion was that I loved it more...and well i hear great things about their food from people on this site.

I booked at LArkfied b/c i LOVED it and we went for opur food tasting the food is amazing and when we went for the tasting they let us try one of eat dish served for the main corse, and we got to try one salad and some desserts and they gave us wine, champagne, liquor, you name it they do it, it really was great (but i might be a little bias since i did book there)

i'm biased because i booked CB, Ive never been to larkfield manor. But the reason I booked is because it is so modern & i loved the art deco feel. The food is amazing. No other RH that I visited had such a gr8 look. (plus one of my BM knew a mgr. there)

I just checked LM's website & it looks nice, but different from CB, so they are definitely different styles, but both are nice.

You also may want to factor in location depending on where your guests are coming from because LM is a bit more east.

Personally I was looking for a beautiful RH with the best price. So if you luv both & LM is cheaper go with them. You can definitely spend the xtra $$ elsewhere!!

Larkfrield and CB were two of my top choices as well. I'm obviously biased cause i booked with CB.. i feel in love with the art deco feel and how it seemed to pop... It just seemed different to me... and i had heard so many great things about the scotto bros. locations... food, service.. all of it was always great... so i felt really confident in booking with them

I sent you FM with more detail but as a very recent Larkfield bride I have to say the place is Fabulous. The food is wonderful and delicious and oodles of it. So many of my guests were taken aback by the location and great food and many said it was the best wedding they have ever attended! In addition the owners are terrific people who care about making your day beautiful and the staff is efficient and courteous. None of my guests were wanting for anything and again many remarked about how good the service was. I can't believe they don't charge more because you get so much and they still find things to throw in to make it nicer.
