My FH and his bridal party want to plan a trip for his bachelor party to Las Vegas. I hate the idea and can't stand when he brings it up. I just don't understand why you have to go to Vegas for your bachelor party. Where are you FH going for their bachelor parties?

It's funny you should mention this, FH's friend is telling his wife that they are taking FH to Vegas for his bachelor party. Which they're not but he's playing a little joke with her and she is so mad at him. I can't really blame her, I don't really like the idea. They might go golfing for the day then hit some bars at night.

FH went to Vegas for his bachelor party two weeks ago - so did I!
We both went out for the same weekend, flew out to Vegas together and came back together, but the girls stayed in one hotel and the guys stayed at the other end of the strip at another hotel. Girls did their own thing and guys did their own thing, then the last night we all got together for dinner and some dancing at a club.
We had a blassst! I totally trust my FH so I wasn't worried about him going to Vegas. And I had always said I wanted to go for my bachelorette party to Vegas so this worked out really well for us.

Im planning on having mine in Vegas, but I grew up there and all my friends that live there are taking me out. We will probably only get a room at a hotel one night and Ill stay the rest of the time with my girls.
FH doesnt think its fair that Im going so he wants to have his there too. I grew up there though so I look at it differently. I dont want him to go, but I cant really tell him not too. I also plan on having a NYC one too, Im sure FH will end up doing that also.

if all his buddies are willing to actually go through with it then cool but if not then it kinda ***** if it falls apart.
Why not just go to AC? that is what I am doing. Fh we have no clue his bestman will not tell me what he is up to.

I completely agree - and I actually love your idea of doing it the same weekend and then getting together at the end just for the last night - we are also doing one in vegas (on sep. weekends) and one in NYC (on same weekend) - so I think maybe we will do that in NYC!!!

I want to go to Amsterdam for my BP. I would love it if FH and his friends came along, it would be sooo much fun!!! but FH really wants to stay in NY for his BP. My FH hates, strip clubs and hookers, his ideal BP is going to the club we always go to every weekend with his buddies.

Fh is going to vegas, before it was even said i knew he would. I don't know its weird but i know how much he loves vegas so i would feel bad if he didn't go to vegas for his bachelor party. He's even been to vegas with his friends while we've been together, i actually am the one who bought him the tickets and paid for the hotel as a surprise for x-mas since i knew his friends were planning on going soon.
As far as why do ppl want to go to vegas for their bp, well basically bc its alot of fun lol.
If it bothers you then maybe you should talk to him about it and see what he says.

mine's definitely going to vegas. it's been planned since 2 weeks after we started DATING.
I might have had mine there as well but I've been there so many times... vegas is great and there's tons to do, but guys are pretty much going for the strip clubs. It doesn't bother me really that he's going - I feel like his friends are more into it than he is. I can understand why it would bother you b/c my friend freaked out and told her now husband that she wouldn't marry him if he went to a strip club for his BP but in all fairness I thought she was overreacting and you need to trust your FH.
I don't get the fascination with strippers but the end of the day it's you he wants to marry and come home to every night; that's what matters.

FH and I moved to California, and our whole bridal party is on the east coast, so we're both flying home the same weekend and thinking about doing seperate things during the day, and then having a joint party in NYC after. I like the idea of having one huge party together to celebrate.

ugh i know how ya feel...i overheard one of his groomsmen saying 'hey we gotta check out vegas prices for the weekend' i hate the idea of this as well...its so not necessary to go overboard like that...

FH is going to Hoboken - doing a bar crawl with his friends & there's a Steelers bar there - so he'll be happy & feel right at home.
Not sure what i'm doing - my MOH has been keeping it rather secret - i know NOTHING.
I had very few 'requests' for FH's....no drugs (he used to smoke a LOT of pot & I mean A LOT!!!!) and that he come home to me that night. Other than that - i don't care what he does.....because as long as he comes home to me - it can't be that bad!

FH wants to go to Vegas too and Im encouraging him to go. He never gets to go anywhere with his friends and they all go back and forth to Vegas all the time. I think this would be the perfect time for him to go.
