Sorry, I know we did this yesterday, but after doing some research and deciding on the Aladdin Hotel, we found out that the MGM Grand is only $1 more per person. So now I need more input on the 2 hotels.
Any plus and/or minuses about each place would be greatly appreciated.

The MGM grand is really nice, but I voted forAladdin because it is more centrally located on the strip!

I voted MGM! My sister got married there! and so did Kelly from Regis and Kelly. I heard it is gorgeous!

You know, I have used that site, but for some reason I don't trust it much. It appears to me that thre are people who intentionally and untruthfully post negative reviews of places. I do check it out though.

I loved MGM Grand....it has an awesome spa. The room we had was really nice. We were able to upgrade to a bigger room when we got there. Good restaurants.

I've stayed at both, and to me, the Aladdin seemed more geared towards families (w/ kids), whereas I didn't feel that as much with the MGM Grand.

I agree. I stayed at Alladdin last September and would have preferred MGM.

I've heard great things about the MGM from two different sets of friends. My uncle stayed at the Aladdin and didn't like it. So I voted for MGM even though I don't know first hand.

I've stayed at the MGM last summer when I went to Vegas! It's AWESOME!!
And I decided to stay there bc I used to watch all those Vegas Travel channel segments...and they were always top rated!!!
They were right!!

We don't have Bellagio money. Trust me, I wish we did but it's about $150 more.

I know The Mandalay Bay has good prices as long as you prepay. That's where we are staying this year.

Aww that's too bad... Be sure to go over for a visit at the Bellagio though! One of the outdoor restaurants while the fountain show is going on, playing Italian music, while enjoying some Champagne with your husband!
