Re: Laser hair removal?
A friend of mine just recently told me that she has had her whole body lasered. Well she had her legs, lip, underarms, and bikini. She is loving life right now. She actually talked me into getting it done myself. She said that it is painful but you get this cream that you need to put on like 2 hours before they do the procedure and it numbs the area. She said they use it on baby to do circumsisions. Here is the catch though. You need to have 4 treatments on each area 7 weeks apart. Inbetween those 7 weeks you CAN NOT wax or pull out the hairs you can shave though. The thing is the laser kills the roots and by waxing you are getting rid of the root. The other thing is it is expensive she said she paid about $250 a session per section of body which is about $1000 a section but she is also 95 lbs and a size 0 so her legs and a normal size persons legs are two different sizes I dont know if it would be more $ or not. Also the numbing cream is like $30-35 a tube and she said that one tube only does one of her legs 1 time and the stuff is a perscription but she orders it online through canada. She said it is such a pleasure going on vacation and not having to worry about shaving her legs or bikini everymorning before hitting the pool. The only other thing is it works on dark course hair only. I am actually going to get at least my lip and underarms done but I am waiting to see how nice of a tax return I am going to get first. Good luck and FM me if you have any questions

Re: Laser hair removal?
my friend got this done on her face and arms. at first she loved it but she said it didn't last. laser doesn't guarantee hair removal, it guarantees that you'll have less hair. only electrolysis can guarantee complete removal. so if you don't have too much, im sure laser will be fine. but if it's coarse or dark, then you might be taking a chance.

Re: Laser hair removal?
I thought I might add that I have a claim here in my office where a young girl recieved 2nd degree burns because it wasn't done properly. Please look into whois doing it and if they have a license.

Re: Laser hair removal?
I am getting it done by a dermatologist in about two weeks. I am getting my bikini done. If everything goes well, I will probably get my arms done as well. I think the cream they are referring to is called Emla. I have used it for electrolysis. I would only do the laser for large areas. For your face, I would definitely recommend electrolysis.
