I tried the laser, and I thought it hurt like Heck!! Waxing didn't hurt AT ALL by the girl I use in Port Jefferson...I wax my legs, eye brows, bikini, arms...she is painless....and I'M A HUGE CHICKEN!
I am also afraid of these lasers....I've spoken with a few MDs and they are also concerned with what is the potential impact of these treatments 10 or 20 years down the road. I am afraid of some cancer link that is just not known at this time, because this is all relatively new...waxing is safe, and painless if done by a really good person.
I go to St. Tropez in Port Jeff for the waxing.
