I go for my first treatment tomorrow. I'm paying in sessions,(6 total) and getting an amazing deal. She knows my sister, and is one of the nicest people I know. She also teaches laser safety and is very meticulous, so I know she'll do a fantastic job. She works out of her home in Stony Brook, and also at a laser place in Commack.
Wondering if anyone has done it in the past, and how well it lasted??? I'm Italian, so you can imagine the hair I have to deal with!!!! I look like I have a disease the next day after I shave! OH my gosh, and talk about itching!!! AAAH! SOOO, I'm getting both full legs, bikini line, and lip. Curious if anyone's done it recently as well, and if the lasers have gotten better, and perhaps more permanent than years ago???? Thanks for replying!!!

............never..and I will never do it. Ive heard scary stories about it on the news...but I know that ever place is different.

Yes, I did it recently...Its not bad at all, it just startles you a bit thats it...It works great

My friend did it and she got really good results. You may have to go back every so often for touch ups even after your sessions are over.

I was having legs, underarm and bikini done (quit since money is tight with the wedding getting closer). I got decent results (only had 2 sessions). My underarm hair is much thinner and my legs have some bald patches now! lol I will definitely finish my treatments after the wedding is over and I have more money.

I get SEVERE razor burn also. I had laser removal on my bikini area. I went for 5 sessions, 10 wks. apart. I paid one lump sum. I get touch ups now every 12 weeks (included) for 1 year. The I think they offer 3 touch ups for your life if anything re-appears. After my 1st session nothing grew back till about a week or 2 before my next visit and its like the hair on the back of your thights, soft and fair. So, even when I shaved it is was no big deal, since it wasn't coarse. Best thing I ever spent my money on. It was about $900 for my bikini area. I have one last visit. Then the 3 for a life time. They make you stay completely out of the sun (and I live in FL), so I wore bikinis w/ skirts (built in) or wraps. Not as tough as I expected. Once I got sun on that area and let me tell you, the laser blistered me. Last time I did that GL Addition, after about 2 treatments the hair rarely grows back. Now almost 2 yrs. after my 1st session, it never grows It is startling, feels like a hot lighter. I have a high tolerance for pain. If you don't, get the numbing cream, they offer. Keep me posted

i hav gotten it doen before at first i was not seeing any results but after my second visit i totally see a difference.. i need to go back for a nother appt and then i should all good for a while.. it def get expensive.. but i think worth it. just make sure you time it right..because you can NOT go in the sun 6-8 weeks after your treatment
