My mom just went to a wedding in St. Thomas and 3 day's before the bride left she had eyelashes put on-- they are supposed to last 2-2 1/2 weeks and you dont have to wear mascara-- which works for me since I am SUCH a cryer.... does anyone know about this? Why have I never heard of this?

I've heard of it.
Honestly, I don't suggest it.
My MOH had them for a while.....
First, they're a pain in the a$$ to get used to. Second, they fall out, and get messed up..... etc.
Third, they ruin your own lashes.
Fourth, they take forever to put on, and, are very expensive.
Fifth, they are made to wear them w/o mascara.....
I'd suggest just getting the fakies on the day of, and not the lash extensions.

ETA: I just saw what you said about the mascara...... that can be a bonus for some, but, my lashes are REALLY light, and, I need to wear mascara, so, I wouldn't like them for that reason!

hmmm... my mom said that they were SUPER dark-- that she saw the girl in sweatpants and it looked weird... lol. So do you have to wear mascara with the fakies the day of? And will they fall out if I cry?!?!

I have never worn fakies w/o mascara..... and, I cannot imagine them falling out.... I have never heard of it happening!
Another thing my friend didn't like, was after the few weeks, you have to go back and get them fixed, or they start to grow out and fall out, and then you basically have to go back again and pay to have them removed.
I'm sounding really discouraging here, but, IDK, I just think they're more trouble than they're worth!!

im obsessed with the idea of getting eyelash tinting and extensions......but it is a lot of up keep and its expensive!! FH would kill me :(
I really want them though! That way I don't have to wear mascara anymore - I LOVE long sexy lashes........I feel like it would make me look so much better and its more natural looking than when i wear mascara.....in my dreams i guess

I got them before, VERY irritating...and they started to come off in the corners after day two and they were a real pain to take off...I would just go with the regular falsies....you won't have to wear mascara with it so you could still cry without having black streams running down your face...

well im from staten island and there is a salon that does it here called AF Bennett......google them it will come up......i also googled eyelash extensions so i could look at before and after pics........
