your awake for the procedure right?
Yup. They give you Xanax and numb your eyeballs though.
oooo xanax! lol i heard that stuff is great! you'll enjoy it..my friend i think got that too and loved it! lol ..she honestly said the procedure was fine and you hardly feel a thing..just pressure i think she said..afterwards though she said her eyes were SUPER SENSITIVE to sunlight so be careful
Yeah they give you HOT glasses to wear, and they tape clear eye shields over your eyes so you cant rub them when you sleep that night. I'll take some photos

Good luck tomorrow!
I know a few people that had lasik and love it. FH's family ALL did it and they rave about the procedure, It's over in a matter of secnds and you don't feel a thing!!!!
I had PRK which is similar but a little more invasive. I wasn't eligible for Lasik due to the size of my retina and shape of the cornea. Healing time is a lot longer than with lasik as well. My major problem is that my night vision totally has gone to hel l. I have really bad glare and its really annoying.
A LOT has changed in the procedure since I did it a few years ago. I need to go back to the doctor but I don't have the patience to go through the surgery again to correct the problems.
Hope this doesn't scare you, there's nothing to be nervous about.

Good luck!!!

FH had it and absolutely loved it. I went and watched the entire thing. I know I am sick. He was fine after. Eyes are very sensitive after but other then that you are basically fine the next day. Good Luck!

Re: Lasik?
I had it done about 4 years ago (along with my mom and brother) and it is the most amazing thing I've ever done! You're going to be very happy with the results. After you have it done your eyes will be sensitive for the first 24 hours afterward, I just relaxed in a dark room with a cold wash cloth over my eyes. Tell us how everything goes when you get home!
