Anyone had it? FH and I are going tomorrow and I'm a little apprehensive!!!

A good friend got it done. When she got home that day she couldn't see at all - things were foggy and blurry so she just went to sleep. . .when she woke up the next morning, perfect vision! and she didn't feel anything at all!

She said it was great, she recommends to everyone!

I've heard both good & bad about it really... It's all in your preference. My ex had it done and is happier than ever...but i have heard really bad things too..

Make sure you do your research on the doc that you are using...

The thing I'm most nervous about is having them put that thing in my eye to keep it open!

I talk about this with FH like everyday. He has perfect vision and im blind...my eye doctor said that before my eyes get any worse I should really look into getting Lasik..I would love to but I just dont have the money for it...
Are you getting the procedure done tomorrow or a consultation?? I'd love to know what happens!

I'm actually having the procedure done tomorrow. The dr that we're going to FH's mom has worked with in the operating room, so we're very comfortable with his skill. I know they also offer no interest financing if thats a concern for anyone!

Ok, awkward isnt THAT bad. Uck, isnt that the stupidest thing to fixate on? Not the laser! Not the follow up! Not possibly messing up, compllications, etc, just the friggin eye opener!

I'd be the same way!!! After you get it done, I'll tell you what my friend's biggest fear was going into it (its funny afterward, but I don't want to put anything in your head lol)

But it will be okay! Defintely let us know how it goes

I just had it in April... One of the best things I've ever done. I was also a bit scared/nervous when I first started thinking about it. I didn't have any pain at all with the actual surgery, just blurry/teary/uncomfortable for a few days after. Everyone heals differently too- some people are fully recovered in a day or so. I'm almost 100% now- still some night halos and dry eyes. But the alternative- contacts (which killed me) or glasses forever/?? I would do the Lasik all over again 100 times!!! FM me if you want more info...

Yup. They give you Xanax and numb your eyeballs though.

oooo xanax! lol i heard that stuff is great! you'll enjoy it..my friend i think got that too and loved it! lol ..she honestly said the procedure was fine and you hardly feel a thing..just pressure i think she said..afterwards though she said her eyes were SUPER SENSITIVE to sunlight so be careful
