Has anyone had Lasik done recently. If you have give me your honest opinion. I am considering doing it but I am very nervous. I have significant astigmatism which can make it tricky. Does anyone reccommend a doctor? Thanks.

I HAD IT DONE AT STAHL EYE CENTER IN GARDEN CITY. DR. MARC WERNER. BEST THING I EVER DID.
I used to work here and would highly recomend them!!!! my mom, SIL and uncle all had it done here.

I am an eye specialist. Beware if you suffer from dry eyes, Lasik can worsen dryness. Normally recommend after glasses prescription has been stable for a few years. Go to a specialist that has alot of experience in Lasik procedure.

I had it done on Sept 1 2005 by Dr. Hufnagel at Stahl Eye Center in Garden City.. i have 20/15 vision now.. no problem with dry eyes.. technology is insane..
I had a good experience but wouldnt necessarily say 'GO GET IT!!'.. understand that there are risks and know that you could end up being a statistic (in a bad way).. its your personal choice to determine if the benefits in your particular situation outweigh the risks
I took the risk and am happy i did.. but then again, i went skydiving a couple yrs back and am glad i did that too (tho FI wasnt too thrilled haha)

my contacts bother me almost every hour of every day... and they're 2 week disposables! I'm so thinking I should get this done before the wedding... I don't want my eyes to be bloodshot in the pictures! My coworker just told me she always sees me rubbing my eyes. I don't even notice it... until I look in a mirror and see my eye make up EVERYWHERE except where I put it. Some questions:
I'm getting married in November... when should I have it done. Or, should I ask, what the LATEST I should do it.
Any horror stories out there? (I heard Patty Steele from PLJ did it and ended up being blind in one eye).
Who do you personally recommend? I would like a place with lifetime guarantee and a payment plan.
