Last holiday at home??

I was just talking to my FI and we are getting married a year from next week. So , this will be my last waking up to thanksgiving at home, or christmas..... it made me kind of sad.. Anyone been there?? maybe i am just getting homesick already, lol

Wow I never thought about that. It is my last Thanksgiving, now I am sad! But just think now you will have more people to share the holidays with!

This will be my last Thanksgiving and Christmas at home, plus New Years. I will be moving mid January living with my FH.

I also wont see him for the holidays, but will make it up when he comes up after the holidays for our engagment party.

We will be having a late Christmas

I still have a long time, but I realized the other day that this is my last Christmas at home.. I have a few more holidays like this Thanksgiving and next Easter, but this being my last Christmas hit me!

I won't be married until next june but I currently live with my fiance - so we feel pretty much already a family and my fiance wants to us to be together on the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) whether with his or my family. But my parents and sister (who is also currently engaged and getting married in 2003) thought it may be nice to be together with just the immediate family (w/o my fiance) as our last Christmas together. So the struggle of who's family to be with on the holidays has already begun for me. It's been pretty stressful trying to decide where we spend Christmas without hurting anyone's feelings - but that will be impossible.

I've lived by myself for about 3 years and never lived with my fh. I've gone home on christmas eve and stayed at my parents house since I've been moved out, so next year,I'll be home from my honeymoon right before xmas so its gonna be weird.
