I get paid every friday. If I walk out/break up/ quit, when should I do it? Would a monday be a good day not to show up to work? what do you guys think how & when I should do it if I do? Im leaning towards doing it.

Re: last job quiting question for the day?
I never recommend quitting, even if it totally sucks.
As an HR person, we always try to check the last job the interviewee was at and quitting is never good.
Plus, you never know when you might run into a person from this job again.
I would just give my notice on Friday. Maybe they'll tell you you can just leave, then at least you did it on good terms.

Re: last job quiting question for the day?
you mean, you don't recommend just walking out - right?
I'm planning on quitting my job once something else comes up, and I'd rather walk away from this job (with notice of course) than stay and continue to be unhappy and feel worthless and unappreciated...

I wish there WAS a club for this! I just got back from a meeting where I not only felt completely ignored, but was made to look like a fool by two of my own coworkers... I hate my job so much right now.....

Totally agree here. Find new position first. If I knew you didn't give notice at your last position I would never hire you. This is true for most employers.

and if you do give notice, don't call in sick on your last day & not have finished your work & left things in an organized fashion for others to follow up on.
